The team aligned on a simpler onboarding experience. Designs are due Thursday, with a shared checklist keeping the launch on track.

Decisions, made clear.

  • Focus this week on the new onboarding flow.
  • Keep the launch small. Learn from the first users.
  • Review final designs together on Thursday.

A thought.
Already in words.

For the email you’re putting off. The message that’s too long to type. The prompt that needs a little more context.

Speak naturally. Pomum turns your voice into text and can paste it into the app you’re using.

A quick thought on the launch

Hey Alex, I’ve been thinking about the onboarding flow. Let’s keep the first step simple and save the extra options for later. Happy to walk through it tomorrow.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Good questions.
Straight answers.

What does Pomum do?

Pomum started with better meetings: searchable transcripts, summaries, and to-dos. Pomum for Mac also lets you dictate text, record screen videos, and capture screenshots. Your web workspace keeps meeting context, videos, and shared work connected.

Can I add my own notes and bookmark important moments?

Yes. Write notes while recording on your Mac, then edit or add to them from the meeting’s Notes tab in the web app. Click the bookmark control during recording to save a marker. Your highlights appear with timestamps so you can jump back to the moment that matters.

Can I use dictation outside Pomum?

Yes. Start dictation with your keyboard shortcut, speak, then finish. Pomum turns your voice into text and can paste it into the app you’re using, such as an email, a message, or an AI prompt. You can choose whether to sync your dictation history to your account.

Can I share videos and screenshots with people outside my workspace?

Yes. Finish a screen video and Pomum copies its sharing link. For a screenshot, use the link action in Quick Access. Anyone with the link can open the shared video or screenshot, so share the link with the people you intend to give access to.

Does a bot need to join my meetings?

No. Pomum for Mac captures your microphone and system audio directly from your computer. There is no extra attendee to invite. Always let the other participants know you’re recording.

Can I use Pomum with my team?

Yes. Invite people to a workspace, share individual meetings or folders, and assign to-dos to teammates. Ordinary recordings are private to their creator until shared; being in the same workspace does not automatically grant access.

How do I get started?

Pomum is currently available by invitation. Create an account with your invitation code, then download Pomum for Mac. Meetings, dictation, and screenshots require macOS 14.2 or later; screen-video recording requires macOS 15 or later. Pomum supports Apple Silicon and Intel. You can read, search, and share your meetings from the web app.
